Meet the XurWatch Team: DamnitBennett
Bennett Newsome (Aka DamnitBennett) is an official Twitch partner, specializing in Destiny and other FPS games. He’s been with Full Sail University for more than 11 years, working in a variety of roles. Bennett’s current role has him serving as an Esports Strategist, helping to grow and build Full Sail’s esports culture, both through support and strategy for the school’s official collegiate team Armada. Bennett also runs www.freestreamresources.com and his personal website www.damnitbennett.com. When he’s not gaming, he can be found kicking back with his wife Alycia and their dog, Marty St. McFly.
Who is Xur?
Xur: Agent of the Nine and a vendor in Destiny 2. He sells Legendary and Exotic items for Legendary Shards. He only appears on the weekends between 1PM EST on Friday to 1PM EST on Tuesday, and his location changes each week. He will appear in the public sector of any of the four worlds: European Dead Zone, Titan, IO, and Nessus or in the Tower.
With such a large area to roam, Xur can be anywhere when he shows up. His general location will be shown with an IX on the map, however, there is still a large area for him to be. Every week we’ll track down Xur to let you know exactly where he’s located so you don’t have to hunt for him. With our information, you’ll be able to go straight to Xur’s location and figure out what you want to buy from
him.
